Super Bowl Day: World Phucking Champions!

As the “Big Game” is only minutes from kickoff, this would be when the entire Philadelphia region stopped and Eagles fans world-wide gather to watch an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl.

But it wasn’t meant to be.  Or something.

Anyway, this is a friendly reminder to the SOB nation:

WE ARE STILL WORLD PHUCKING CHAMPIONS

Thanks Again 2008 Phillies!

I agree with Espo. The Eagles had a surprising run and, in all honesty, probably should not have even made the playoffs. It already seems like awhile ago, but I remember when all Eagles fans descended into depression after our tie with the Bengals. We all thought, or at least most of us did, that the Eagles had no chance of making the playoffs. And to be honest, given our lackluster performances during the course of the season, we shouldn’t have. But we did. We ended up turning nothing into something, and the Eagles proved that they can play ball. They also proved that all of our main people will be back, and with the addition of a free agent wide receiver which we will most definitely seek in the offseason, we can quite possibly be the best team in the NFL going into next season. The Eagles can easily be a 13-3 team. I think that the Eagles can be that team. But nonetheless, we should, at this point, appreciate the fact that the Eagles even survived the circumstances to make it in.

That said, Philadelphia is now, officially, a CHAMPIONSHIP CITY. The Phillies won the World Series!!!!!!!We win, they lose!!!!!!!!!!
It’s about time, it was awesome, and it is something no one can ever take away from us. And we witnessed history. I will echo Espo’s congratulations again to the Phillies, because they helped to save this city. Philly’s back in the game and we will continue to be in the game.

I congratulate you guys for balls’in out and starting this up, and let’s turn this into the premier site for all Philly sports fans. Aw yeah!
