I don't think we ever really offered anything serious for Fitzgerald. Arizona didn't want anything to do with Lito and that's all we were looking to trade. I dont think we were close to bringing in Moss either. I think more often than not the FO just lets news leak of them pursing WR to please the fans. If you recall, we were lucky to land TO that year. He was almost surely a Raven. We tried to make moves for Randy Moss last year. We tried to haul in Fitz. We just didn't come through. Its not that we are not willing to sign these guys, its that they are just impossible to pry from other teams. And Housh is the man, I love him, but he's not Elite.
