As unpopular as this may be taken, I think that the Eagles should stand pat until the draft. I fully agree that every other team in the NFC East has made improvements, but the FAs are just not there anymore. If we get into a pissing match with the other teams now just to either please the fans or try and do damage control, we are going to end up with a broken, old, or overpaid player. I understand Eagle fans are calling for any move right now, especially because we lost Dawk. We have lots of picks right now and I'm sure we can package some of those to either move up in the draft or trade for a starter. I don't want us to go and trade for Holt (a popular rumor right now) because the guy is old. He had a terrible season last year. I understand the QB situation there last year was less than ideal, but he was not able to get any seperation while running routes. Same goes for Marvin Harrison. I know TJ is a huge FA name out there right now, but he is not a true #1 WR. The only reason he is as good as he is is because of who he has on the other side of the field. As good as Jackson is, he is not Ocho Cinco (yet). I think we will ultimately be disappointed if we sign TJ with the belief that he is our #1. If we can manage to pry a younger WR (Edwards or Boldin), which I highly doubt, I think it would be our smartest option.
