At midnight on the start of SOB Nation consigliery CheezWhizard’s birthday, he received an unexpected yet prompt birthday present from ESPN’s Michael Smith:
The Dallas Cowboys have released controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens, sources told ESPN’s Michael Smith late Wednesday.
The Cowboys paid Owens a $12 million signing bonus just last year, included as part of a new four-year, $34 million deal.
Karma.
Just goes to show that just when you think nothing can go your way, something bad happens to Terrell Owens and brightens your day!
Drew Rosenhaus is probably on his way to T.O.’s house right now to empty out the medicine cabinet.
Hopefully T.O.’s got a few million reasons to live stashed somewhere nearby, or else it’s going to be a long night.
